I agree, that is a neat idea, that prey is attracted to beauty. I can definitely see why people who write about vampires would want to use it. My problem is, in a visual media, it's hard to show beautiful vampires where all the viewers will agree on the beauty, and I think, if he was going to push how beautiful he made his male vampires, he might want to stick with a more classic beauty in all the actors. If he hadn't gone on and on about how beautiful they were, I wouldn't have batted an eye at the casting, but I just don't understand how he thinks he did what he says he did.
