I would like to see me write some stories like that, too. I have one started, at least, post-movie, where Mia and Letty actually work better together than they do with anyone else, especially since they were both so screwed by Dom and Brian.

The more I write Mia, the more I love her, and want to do a story where she can really show her tough, intelligent side. I think she's whip smart and rock hard, even if it's in a different way than Letty is rock hard, and someday I'll find the right story to have them not only spark off each other but actually build something strong together.
